Solitude Farm Campsites
MorningRise and BrookSide are two campsites located on The Solitude Farm, a 200-acre parcel of private land on a dead-end road just off the Cannonsville Reservoir. Camp with up to six friends or family members. There is nothing to set up, so bring food, bedding, toiletries, and a flashlight or two, and you’re set! Fresh spring water is provided for drinking and bathing, as well as firewood for cooking and camp fires. Canoes and a rowboat are available for rent to use on the Reservoir. Kingswood provides the perfect setting for families, couples, and friends to camp, hike the trails, swim and boat in the lake, or just relax!
Kingswood is a family oriented campground with equipped campsites, tent sites. They are a Christian oriented camp rooted in the United Methodist Church.
Located on the banks of the East Branch of the Delaware River, Buck-Horn Lodge offers seven fully equipped and heated rustic cabins available with one or two bedrooms, living/dining room, bathroom with shower, kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave), cable TV, and covered porch. Each cabin also has its own picnic table and fire pit, and their location is a hot spot for observing bald eagles and the occasional golden eagle. Guests can fish right in front of their cabin in the East Branch of the Delaware River. Buck-Horn operates seasonally throughout the Spring, Summer, and early Fall.
Oxbow is a family-oriented destination, with two playgrounds, a ball field, recreation hall, volley ball net, and some of the best fishing on the Delaware! Day use visitors are welcome as well.
Bear Spring Mountain Campground
Bear Spring Mountain is a New York State DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) Campground in a scenic and peaceful setting just 30 minutes from Hancock… and well worth the trip! The grounds feature 41 tent and trailer sites, picnic areas with grills, pavilion, boat/kayak/canoe rental, swimming, fishing, and 24 miles of multi-use trails (including hiking, cross-country skiing, biking, horseback riding, and snowmobiling). This is a BYOH (Bring Your Own Horse) facility!
Soaring Eagle Campground
Located right on the Delaware River just above the famous Kellam’s Bridge, Soaring Eagle has some of the best fishing along the river, with scrappy, small mouth bass, trout, and walleye. Enjoy privacy and tranquility with room to breathe! Marvel at the wildlife as you enjoy your privacy and tranquility… you may even spot a soaring eagle or two that nest nearby!
